What are your candles made of? 

Strike & Flame candles are made with 100% soy wax and non-toxic, premium grade phthalate free fragrance oils. Our oils are skin safe and cruelty free. 

Do I need a reservation? 

While we strongly encourage reservations to secure a spot for groups of all sizes. If you are planning to visit with a group of 6 or more, a reservation is required. We do accept and will do our best to accommodate walk-ins. Please note, there may be a wait depending on the store traffic.

How much does your experience cost?:

The candle pouring experience starts as low as $40. Price may vary depending on the vessel size you choose. This price includes all the materials needed for the experience, the vessel, fragrance of your choice, and a complimentary drink. Also included is assistance from our Scent Specialists who will guide you through the process. And of course, your finished candle to take home! 

Can I bring outside food or drink? 

Our shop does not allow outside food (with the exclusion of private events). We encourage you to explore our neighborhood/neighbors to grab a bite to eat while your candles cool.

Is this experience good for kids?

We pour hot wax at temperatures of 175 degrees. For everyone’s safety, we recommend ages 10 and up to pour with us, with adult supervision. Children between the ages of 6 - 9 may participate but are not allowed to pour hot wax. Children 5 and under are not permitted in the work areas (bar or bistro tables).

How long does it take to pour a candle?

The entire experience takes 45-60 minutes; however, you may move through the process as quickly as you’d like. Candles take 2 hours to cool. If you want to pour a candle and pick it up the same day, please plan to visit the store no less than approximately 3 hours before closing.

What can I do while I wait for my candle to cool?

Strike & Flame Candle Bar is located in a prime location of Greensboro and surrounded by a vast selection of shopping and dining opportunities. We recommend that you visit some of our close neighbors to grab a bite to eat/drink or take a stroll around the neighborhood for a little shopping.

If you are unable to pick up your candles the same day, you are welcome to pick them up anytime within 14 days following your visit. Candles may be shipped for a flat rate of $12. 

Note: If you wish to pour a candle and pick it up the same day, please be sure to reserve a time at least three hours before close to ensure your candle has time to cool. 

What happens to my candle if I don't pick it up within 14 days?

Candles that are not retrieved or shipped within 14 days will be donated and adopted by local organizations.

What forms of payment do you accept?p

We are a cashless facility, however we accept all major forms of credit and debit cards.

BYOB

We are a NEWLY BYOB establishment. Come Pour & Sip with us (responsibly of course)! Alcoholic beverages allowed: Wine, Beer & Champagne Only. All outside beverages are subject to a $10 corking fee / per bottle or per 6 pack.

** Corking fee's are not included in candle pour pricing and are non-negotiable

We will provide plastic cups, and openers. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase, $1/each + tax

Discounts

In Store we offer Buy 3 Get 1 Free for our Pour Sessions. This is valid per person or for parties of 2 only!!

In store we offer each guest 20% off any additional product purchases made during a pour session.

Late Policy

Life happens, so if you are running behind please call us. If you are running more than 10 minutes behind, we will reschedule you for another date or time.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately not. We have a no refund policy on candle making experiences. We we will be happy to reschedule your session at a later date. Just email us at: candles@strikeflame.com or click the “reschedule” option on your confirmation email page.
